The 2024 Vintage Special Reserve is now on-sale.

Finally, we are releasing the 2024 Vintage of our renowned Special Reserve Keeved Cider, quite probably the most highly recognised and decorated of any cider made in the UK.

This cider took 10 years to develop resulting in the ultimate accolade of a Great Taste Golden Fork in 2019. This is the kind of recognition by the UK's premier food and drink awards organisation really doesn't come around very often. It was an award that left us all slightly shocked,

Special Reserve is a cider made using the traditional process keeving utilised in most of the craft cider makers in Normandy and Brittany, Northern France. It amounts to an arrested-fermentation management approach that relies on manipulating the nutrient level available to the yeast with the aim of creating a stable cider that still retains some of the sugars available in the original cider apple juice.

Requiring no filtration, carbonation or pasteurisation, keeved cider is unique among its peers, and offers deeper colour, enhanced flavour and a light carbonation that takes place in-bottle. 

We have decided to release the 2024 Vintage now in time for Christmas 2025. So treat yourself and your guests to something unique and special, or buy as a gift for friends and family. You won't be disappointed - Special by name, Special by nature.

Worleys Special Reserve is made from 100% pure cider apple juice using the ancient art of keeving. This creates a naturally lightly sparkling cider of outstanding fruity character with subtle undertones of caramel. It has sweetness and rounded tannins lifted by a subtle carbonation. A highly decorated cider of distinction.

Please note: Bottle-conditioning results in a natural sediment. Store and chill upright and pour with care to leave sediment in the bottle.
